Lady of the Lotus Botanicals
Benefits & Philosophy:
What's in in for me? Or, what can Lady of the Lotus Botanicals do for me? Telling a potential customer or client, exactly what they will gain from your product or service, is one of the tenets of marketing 101. It's often said that, if you don't answer this question for the customer within seconds of them visiting your site, reading your brochure or viewing your ad, then you've already lost them.
It's a valid point, and a logical question. Especially with an online based business. After all, you cannot enjoy the aromatic scent or feel the vibrational potency of Lady of the Lotus Botanicals through the photos and words on our website. Though many people are drawn to our products through the beauty and aesthetic presented on these pages, still others will visit several times, with a sense that something resonates with them, but still not sure exactly what or why. Sure, you like what you see on our Facebook page, and you've enjoyed looking at all the pretty pics on our website. And your friend keeps raving about the excellent results she received from one of our oils or teas. But, you're still left wondering....What's in it for me?
Well....we're not going to tell you in 30 seconds. We're also not going to give you a sound byte or gimmicky slogan. And we're not going to manipulate you by making you think or feel that you are missing out on something, or being excluded, by not buying our products. (Ex: "Hurry, only 3 left!" Or, "This exclusive offer is just for you, but it's only until next week!") This isn't high school, after all. What we will do, however, is have an intelligent conversation with you. We'll let you know exactly what we offer, our motivations, our mission and what you can reasonably expect to gain from using our products. So pull up a seat, have a cup of tea, relax, and read on.....
Lady of the Lotus Botanicals offers you consciously created, hand-crafted wellness products, dedicated to longevity through self-care. We hope to convey the value of establishing, or continuing, a self-care routine in your search for enlightenment, vitality and radiant health. A long life, if desirable to you, gives you the time, energy and stamina to pursue your spiritual growth, talent development and creative expression. Your talents and expressions may be conventionally artistic, or they may be in business, as an entrepreneur in science or technology, investment or any means through which you seek to excel and leverage your own abilities in ways that bring forth your highest potential.
If you do not have a burning desire to live long, or simply don't really care one way or the other, self care still makes sense. Because, really, who wants to live their life in pain, experiencing decreasing mobility and function, simply because 'that's the way it is?' That is the way it is for many, but there is also a choice to approach life, the passage of time and the body, in a different way. Why not enjoy caring for yourself, while enjoying greater health to the fullest extent possible? Continue to be active, to have vigor, strength and vitality as you perform daily tasks and/or explore new fields throughout the course of your life. This is self care.
By the way, with consciously created, we don't mean that others' products are created unconsciously. Nor are we touting some new-age, airy fairy slogan. We mean that we are conscious, as in fully aware, of exactly what we are creating, and why we are doing it. And we are transparent about this. When we say longevity through the path of self-care, in support of personal alchemy and transformation, we mean it. We don't really mean we want to make a lot of money and we need to come up with something clever to win you over. We are not using catchphrases like people before profits. Those catchphrases are irrelevant to what we are doing here at Lady of the Lotus Botanicals. To quote a former Craniosacral client (see Lady of the Lotus Longevity Arts): "Like a five-star chef, Laurie blends her perceptive intelligence and sensitive touch with a magical intuition and genuinely warm empathy for her clients to create a supportive, compassionate environment. This combination enables healing of body & mind & promotes growth of spirit into new dimensions of consciousness." We consciously put this same attention and intention into our botanicals. The same gifts and abilities we use in our other endeavors, are applied in the development & delivery of our botanicals. It's serious business to us. It's inherent in what we do. It's not an after thought or a business strategy, and it never will be.
Back to Self Care: It is a form of healing, and a means to invest in yourself; through preventative maintenance, yes, but also through creating a reservoir of health within, one that can be drawn on in future times. Your body is the vehicle through which you get to create and experience your life. Caring for your body is neither a moral mandate, nor an act that Lady of the Lotus Botanicals dictates as essential. Essential is in the eye of the beholder, depending upon your priorities. IF your priorities include a life fully lived with vitality, minimum illness, free of chronic, lingering pain, then self care is essential. It's also pragmatic and logical. The Lady of the Lotus concept of self care emphasizes longevity, because it is a natural outcome of working with body, mind, emotions and spirit, through inner alchemy-all of which are served through our product line.
Beauty care is also a form of self care. Your daily regimen may involve high end products from a department store, the most expensive organic line from a health food store, or economical drug store items. No matter, they support what is important to you: Looking good and minimizing signs of aging and stress. This process can feel like building an arsenal at times, especially in today's modern world, with constant warrior technology employed: Battle this, Anti that, Fight aging, Get Rid of such and such....
Lady of the Lotus sees that both beauty care ad self care can be focused instead on cultivating radiance, employing the wisdom of plant healing and establishing a foundation of health and vitality that allows tensions and compromises to fall away. The result of this approach is a foundation that is not as easily swayed by every cold, virus, media hysteria or drama that comes your way. This is physical, psychic and emotional immunity. Immunity leads to sovereignty. And sovereignty is a beautiful thing.
Sovereignty allows you to create and live your life on your own terms, and to experience true freedom as an internal state of spaciousness, optimism and potential. Liberation is from the bondage of external illusion. Beauty care as self care as healing, cultivates recognition of truth within, and freedom from personal illusions. Self honesty and integrity are then expressed through all actions in the world, resulting in less drama, clearer decisions and self knowledge. Wisdom is beauty, is health care, is longevity, is freedom.
When you are aligned with yourself, centered, you are more likely to be 'at the right place at the right time', the point from which synchronicity, luck and finding the right people and situation for you, arise. You're also more likely to feel good, have stronger resilience, and be less inclined to pick up every cold or virus going around.
Trying new things can be intimidating. And the holistic health movement sometimes seems exclusive, or based in the idea of 'perfection', dissuading some people from even giving it a try. Lady of the Lotus supports the health, longevity and beauty of all who are interested, not just a few who fit a perceived world view. This does not mean that everyone will dig our site or what we offer. It does mean, however, that we can and do appeal to many different people, and we like that. We open our doors to everyone. All are welcome. Not everyone who visits will have a seat and stay awhile. Those who do, will be forever changed by their experience with our Botanicals. And that is our ultimate goal: Personal transformation through Alchemy.
